We’ve recruited 2 stars of Ortho Anesthesia to join us at Anesthesia Camp Grand Cayman Jan 27-30, 2016, at the Ritz Carlton Resort Grand Cayman. They come to us from 2 institutions at the forefront of modern orthopedics and perioperative clinical pathways – Mayo Clinic and NYC’s Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS).
Stavros Memtsoudis M.D., Ph.D., board-certified in both anesthesiology and critical care medicine, joined HSS after completing subspecialty training in critical care medicine, cardiac, and thoracic anesthesiology. His expertise lies in the perioperative care of patients with advanced cardiovascular and pulmonary disease. Scientifically, Dr. Memtsoudis has an interest in the fields of cardiopulmonary physiology and national database outcomes research, and has published articles in these fields.
